Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.
Its design is also superior to the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can vacuum and mop your house at the same time. They also have a number of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place it can be accomplished without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for everyone however it can aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are some of the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's most appealing point is how it automates various tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that does a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price cost.
If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping capabilities at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room for it to move around but.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way that the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and much simpler to maintain. self vacuum means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
